Instant-Pot Shrimp Broil

Grocery List:

  • Red potatoes (3 lbs)
  • Smoked andouille sausage (two 13.5 oz packages)
  • Sweet onion (one medium)
  • Beer (16 oz)
  • Old Bay seasoning (4 TBSP)
  • Frank’s Hot sauce (4 TBSP)
  • Corn on the cob (one package of 4 medium cobs)
  • Cooked shrimp (1 lb – don’t add until the end!)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • Lemon (2)


  • Cut red potatoes into small cubes
  • Slice sausage into thin slices
  • Dice onion
  • Cut corn on the cob into thirds
  • Note: you’ll have to do the next step twice! Not all of the ingredients will fit into the instant pot
  • Add cubed potatoes, sliced sausage, corn, and diced onion into the instant pot. Add 2 TBSP Old Bay seasoning, 2 TBSP hot sauce, and 1 cup of water (you’re supposed to use beer but I forgot!)
  • Cook on manual, high pressure for 5 minutes. Release pressure immediately after cooking
  • Add shrimp
  • Top with fresh squeezed lemon juice and parsley
