- Ground beef (2.4 lbs)
- Onion (1)
- Elbow macaroni (12 servings = 1.5 boxes)
- White cheddar cheese (one 8 oz block)
- Flour (3 TBSP)
- Milk (2 cups)
- Beef broth (1 cup)
- Dijon mustard (2 TBSP)
- Seasonings: salt, pepper, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder
Directions:
- In a large pot bring water to a boil. Add the pasta, cook until desired tenderness. Drain and set aside
- Dice your onion
- Add 2 TBSP olive oil to a large pan/wok. Add the diced onion. Cook until desired tenderness and then add the ground beef.
- Cook the ground beef until it is done, drain the beef and onion mixture, and return it to the pan
- Cut cheese block into small cubes
- Add the cheese, milk, beef broth, flour, Dijon, and seasonings to the cooked ground beef. Bring to a light boil and let it simmer until the mixture thickens a bit.
- Top the noodles with the hamburger mixture and garnish with parsley
